MEET OUR COACHES
brandon Pottie
(Founder/Development Coach)
Brandon grew up playing AAA hockey in the Bedford Minor system, going on to play for the Halifax Macs before being drafted into the MHL. After a career shift to firefighting, Brandon returned to the rink, eventually founding Pottie Method Training. Today, he coaches over 200+ athletes throughout the year, partnering with Craig Prior to push the limits of hockey development in Nova Scotia.
Craig Prior
(Head Development Coach)
Craig played for the Halifax MacDonald's in the NSMMHL and the St. Jean Lynx in the QMJHL. He's coached at elite hockey schools in Canada and the U.S. and led teams like the U15 Major Gulls and U18 Major Wolfpack. Craig has developed many players now in the QMJHL, college, and pro hockey.

Shane Pottie (Head Strength & Conditioning Coach)
With 14 years in fitness coaching, Shane blends his experience in competitive hockey with his expertise in athletic performance. As a certified personal trainer and fitness coach, Shane brings a diverse skill set to help athletes achieve their peak performance on and off the ice.
Sabrina Pottie (Co-Founder/Goalie Coach)
With 25 years of hockey experience, Sabrina's journey began at age 5 when she dominated as a goaltender. After a career playing up to Midget AAA and high school, she shifted her passion to coaching youth goalies, sharing her vast knowledge to help them excel.
Lucy Phillips (Goalie Coach)
Lucy is fresh off her first NCAA D1 season with Quinnipiac University and now joining Robert Morries University. Not to mention a gold medal with Team Canada at the U18 Women’s World Championships. She has been coaching goalies of all ages since 2020 and continues to grow her coaching career with Pottie Method Training.
Steve Pottie (On-Ice Coach)
Steve's love for hockey spans decades, from being a youth scoring leader to playing semi-pro. Now a master of skate sharpening, Steve blends his deep understanding of the game with the science behind the perfect edge. His passion for hockey continues to inspire players of all ages.
